Report File - Twilight
St Louis, Missouri 11/15/03
Operations
successful, no one questioned origin or lineage, city has chaotic management.
Ventrue management
following Marlo Chase's export was short-lived. Andrea Donaghy, too young
maybe, too idealistic to manage the rigors of administration. A few decisions
questioned, outright hostility noted by the residents, some who had been
here for a long period...since the seige of 2001 (See Zoe Grey). Andrea
resigned efficiently, disappeared for a few weeks, reappeared and was
pronounced destroyed a short time later - circumstances suspicious.
Sabbat activity
neutralized on the east side, concerns to masquerade minimal. Administration
focused on trivialities, rather than the big picture. Attention placed
on concerns of status and domain, organizing large hunting packs to neutralize
sabbat. The cracking infrastructure of the entire sect goes ignored (I
wonder if it is the same in other cities).
Nathan Atkinson,
former seneschal, takes praxis after Andrea's resignation. He makes very
few appearances, and no administrative decisions noted at this point,
though he seems to have withheld some of Andrea's less popular decisions,
presumably out of convience. Ex: All parties and gatherings are to be
considered elysium-temporary for the duration of the party. The enforcement
of the policy is unclear.
Giovanni
seems to have gone entirely underground, I've only heard of one in the
city, Jade. No other information beyond that.
Setites hold
a base (Kimia Lounge), bolstered by the disillusioned residents during
Andrea's reign. Their numbers and settlement in the city may suggest an
entry point, if the rumors of Set's resurrection are to be believed.
Clanless
population healthy (and growing), for a short duration a Caitiff (Tony)
held the position of sheriff, status high enough during that time to presumably
make a bid for praxis. The man lacked ambition for such, and resigned
as sheriff a short time after Andrea resigned. Havyn, childe of the anathema
Bukowski, childe of Elena Hawkley, has managed a stay of execution, guided
by my hand. She remains as part of the clanless, monitored closely for
ascension. It is uncertain whether her status as a caitiff qualifies for
fulfillment of prophecy, since her lineage is known.
Tremere secretive,
even with the Tremere Prince, their activities remain well guarded. What
are they up to?
Ventrue not
likely to recover from the loss of a slew of elders: Marlo Chase, Elena
Hawkley, Andrea Donaghy, Jaxon Walsh, Bukowski. Algernon serves as primogen,
weak and ineffective. In fact, the entire structure usually holding the
camarilla together seems to be absent, council members, primogen and princes
change regularly.
Toreador
maintain a presence in numbers, with some small cohesion and adherance
to form and protocol, though unlikely to balance the other elements that
pull the city toward chaos. Zoe Gray, one of the older residents of the
city had a brief sojourn as an outcast, which was reversed once Donaghy
was evicted.
Nosferatu
are unseen, likely non-existant but hard to confirm. The only nosferatu
i've seen pretends at being a Toreador. Information network failure.
Malkavians
are high in number, maintaining a cohesive force(?) in opposition to the
chaos. A noteable development, all things considered. Murdoch and Julius
tightly knit, the rest (including myself) are satellites, though supporting
of the mini-structure.
Brujah -
have changed primogen three times since I've been here, a fourth is imminent.
It is not expected they will bear arms should the need arise.
One Lasombra,
of the antitribe variety. He seems to be in the middle of some odd love
triangle with Zoe, and a Ventrue called Seth. Significance of the name,
maybe? The children of seth...
